Change Your Water, Change Your Life

FREE WORKSHOP June 18 from 7-8 p.m. at Jungle Juice Bar on the health benefits of Kangen water, featuring Michael Cartwright, co-founder of Nation4Hydration.

Water is the most commonly consumed beverage in the world, including here in the U.S. Yet despite rigorous safety standards mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency, reports of impurities and toxins in drinking water abound. Many consumers believe they are avoiding exposure to these substances by drinking bottled water, but a recent German study highlighted by FoxNews.com found more than 24,500 chemicals in commercially packaged water.

Our bodies need water to function, but the quality of the water you consume can have a direct impact on how you look and feel. The health benefits to drinking ionized ,alkaline, antioxidant water have been well-documented, but many people lack accessibility. Michael Cartwright, co-founder of Nation4Hydration, offers a simple solution to this problem: Kangen Water.

Based on a health-related water technology originating in Japan that has been widely used for nearly half a century, Kangen Water is produced via a small device attached to any home or business tap. This process, known as electrolysis, removes the chemicals and impurities while preserving the minerals in water. The end product is medical-grade purified, alkaline, antioxidant, super-hydrating water.

Why do these qualities matter? Cartwright explains: We tend to lead acidic lifestyles because of the foods we eat and stressful lifestyles. The alkalinity in Kangen Water aids in maintaining a healthy pH balance (optimum 7.35 pH) and eliminating acidic wastes. The antioxidants combat free radicals which negatively impact cells and prompt aging effects. The purity decreases exposure to toxins and other dangerous substances, and, because your body isn’t expending energy to combat free radicals and a pH imbalance, biological functioning is improved.

“Think of the immune system as a computer CPU,” Cartwright says. “The more tasks being performed, the slower the computer will run and the core programs will lag. Similarly, when the immune system is constantly fighting this influx of toxins and chemicals, the white blood cells can’t expend their time and energy on the primary diseases of the body. This antioxidant water assists the immune system allowing the body to do what it does best, that is heal itself. Combined with the waters ability to easily travel anywhere in the body and permeate any cell, this water is the ultimate antioxidant.”

Our goal is to launch a worldwide movement, Cartwright says, starting here in our local community.
